Full Level 3 qualification in Childcare & Education — the professional standard for working with babies and young children. This covers child development, safeguarding, planning activities, and supporting learning through play.
Fully certified in paediatric first aid, covering emergency response for babies and children — including CPR, choking, burns, and allergic reactions. Certificate is kept up to date with regular renewal.
Level 2 Safeguarding qualification, ensuring Chloe understands her responsibilities to protect children from harm, recognise signs of concern, and follow the correct procedures to keep every child safe.
Certified in food hygiene and safety, covering safe food handling, preparation, and storage for young children — including allergen awareness and age-appropriate meal planning.
Holds a current Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check — the highest level of background screening available. Parents are welcome to view the certificate at any time.
Fully insured with public liability cover specifically for childcare. This protects both Chloe and the families she works with, giving everyone complete peace of mind.
Holds an Epilepsy Awareness certificate, covering recognition of seizure types, appropriate first response, and how to keep a child safe and comfortable during and after a seizure.
Certified through the Improving Asthma Care Together programme, covering asthma triggers, recognising symptoms, correct inhaler technique, and when to seek emergency help for a child.
Holds an Allergen Awareness certificate, covering the 14 major allergens, cross-contamination risks, label reading, and how to respond quickly and calmly if an allergic reaction occurs.
Certified in the correct use of an adrenaline auto-injector (Epi-Pen), including when and how to administer it, positioning the child, and follow-up emergency procedures.
Trained in the use of the LifeVac anti-choking device — a non-invasive airway clearance device for use when standard back blows and abdominal thrusts have not been successful.
