A little preparation can make a new babysitting experience feel more familiar for everyone. Here's what families can expect when they reach out to Little Blossoms.
Let Chloe know about naps, meals, comfort items, favourite activities, and anything that helps your little one settle.
Keep nappies, wipes, snacks, drinks, sleep items, and any other everyday essentials in an easy-to-find place.
A quick handover about your plans, contact details, and any important notes helps everyone begin with confidence.
Every availability request is reviewed personally, so Chloe can confirm the details with you before care is arranged.
Your child stays in the comfort of home, with routines and play shaped around what feels reassuring to them.
Chloe values clear, caring communication so you feel informed and comfortable from the first conversation onward.
Childcare policies
A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required if you no longer need care. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, 50% of the agreed amount will still be charged. Please tell Chloe as soon as possible if agreed care needs to be cancelled or changed. Chloe will also set out what happens if she needs to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances outside her control.
Payment is due on the date agreed before care begins. If payment is not received on time, a late-payment charge will apply.
Please share any illness, symptoms, diagnosis, or exposure concern before a visit. Chloe will decide with you whether care can safely go ahead, taking account of your child's wellbeing, infection-control guidance, and the wellbeing of others. Families should keep Chloe updated if symptoms develop or advice changes.
Your child's safety comes first. Please provide current parent and emergency-contact details, your child's relevant medical information, and clear instructions for your home. In an emergency, Chloe will seek urgent help where needed and contact you as soon as it is safe to do so. Safeguarding concerns will be acted on in line with Chloe's safeguarding procedure and legal duties.
Before care, please provide written details of allergies, dietary needs, medication, doses, storage, and emergency plans, including any prescribed rescue medication. Medication is only given with prior written parental consent and clear instructions, and only where Chloe is trained, confident, and insured to do so. Families remain responsible for supplying suitable food, medication, and in-date equipment.
If you expect to be delayed, contact Chloe as soon as possible and keep her updated. Any late-collection plan should include authorised adults, emergency contacts, and the steps Chloe will take if she cannot reach you.
